A few words on the latest issue of Purple Magazine…

That was so freakin amazin!!! I must of read it bout five times!

Fiery and colorful and real and deep and down to earth while very creative and in the stratosphere.

Not to mention all the beautiful faces artwork poetry and the creative elements the colors the whole thing was AMAZING!!!!

I learned of this ebook via a forum I frequent and decided to contact the author about re-designing the cover. Thankfully, he was open to the idea. Creating is so much more fun when you can assist someone in the process.

Earlier this week, I had a scheduled meeting with someone that unfortunately didn’t take place. That is life and things happen. But it was the purpose of that meeting that stimulated some of my previous ideas about art and design. The cover you see above was created years ago, however, it still brings me pleasure while viewing it. It visually communicates what I was thinking at that time in my life and what I hoped to communicate with others. This leads me to the question of’ ‘What if?’

What if you were able to share all of what you’re capable of with the world? What would you do? How would you go about doing it?

Just curious…

Reconnect with your brilliance by…

1. Letting go of self-imposed restrictions
2. Opening your mind
3. Surrounding yourself with innovative people
4. Trying fresh ideas
5. Taking chances with new experiences
6. Changing patterns of behavior

Did you know that the local library has so much more than books?

I’m sure you know this but I needed to be reminded of this recently. It all started with a strong desire to hear Maxwell’s first cd and realizing that I must have given it away  (because I knew I had it years ago). I figured I’d check the online library catalog to see if they had it and guess what? They did! I did a little happy dance and then wondered what else they had to fulfill my musical and culinary appetites.

Below is what I found and I’m thrilled! 

 Now I’ll wait a few days for the items to find their way to my selected library and there you have it…

So, visit your local library because you never know what awaits you!
